LMD team leader

About the Role

J&T Express is seeking an LMD Team Leader to manage last-mile delivery operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to ensure efficient and accurate delivery services, overseeing a team of drivers and coordinating with various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily last-mile delivery operations to ensure accurate and timely completion of all deliveries within agreed service levels.
• Manage and monitor delivery drivers/riders, ensuring proper allocation of routes, orders, and delivery areas.
• Track daily delivery performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates, successful delivery rates, failed deliveries, returns, and customer complaints.
• Monitor drivers’ attendance, productivity, performance, and compliance with operational procedures.
• Ensure delivery routes are optimized to maximize efficiency and minimize delays, unnecessary mileage, and operational costs.
• Follow up on delayed, failed, or problematic deliveries and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, customer service, and operations teams to ensure a smooth order flow from dispatch to final delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in last-mile delivery operations or logistics management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of delivery personnel.
• Strong understanding of route optimization and operational efficiency in a delivery context.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic logistics environment, requiring close coordination with various operational teams.
