Logistics Team Leader

About the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join their team in Hafar Al Batin, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing daily logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards in warehouse procedures and inventory management. The Logistics Team Leader will play a key role in coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely order delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to operational tasks with flexibility, adapting to daily assignments and promptly informing management of any issues.
• Ensure adherence to all warehouse processes (SOPs), including inbound, outbound, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Prepare and execute the daily operational plan accurately within agreed parameters.
• Oversee inventory, manage goods, and maintain accurate warehouse records to ensure effective stock control, proper storage, and timely distribution.
• Understand customer needs and build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally.
• Coordinate with planners, sales, and commercial operations to ensure timely order delivery.
• Ensure all necessary documents, such as route plans, delivery notes, invoices, RTV documents, Bayan, and Ajeer documents, are accurately prepared and provided to drivers.
• Manage the receipt of documentation and address complaints or inquiries related to sales.
• Ensure department compliance with Arla Foods' standards, policies, and local applicable laws.
• Promote a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment, fostering a safety mindset.
• Maintain quality and food safety within the area of responsibility.
• Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse, machinery, material handling equipment, and trucks.
• Embrace Arla's sustainability practices within the area of responsibility.

• Develop team competencies, including enabling and coaching team members based on Arla's leadership and character principles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Skilled education in logistics, warehousing, or an equivalent field.
• Basic understanding of machinery, equipment, and fleet used in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to coordinate with relevant functions for timely maintenance of material handling equipment.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
