Fulfillment Center Supervisor

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is expanding its Operations team and is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing shift management within one of Amazon's first-mile fulfillment centers, middle-mile sortation centers, or final-mile delivery stations. The position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring customer orders are processed effectively.

Role Context

Operations Specialists are central to the daily functioning of Amazon's ground operations. This role plays a key part in the end-to-end process of fulfilling customer orders. It is a varied and challenging position where daily tasks contribute directly to the logistics and supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate a safe working environment by identifying and addressing safety opportunities within the work area.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure high-quality service for customers.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• Provide critical shift-related information to frontline management and operators on an ongoing basis.
• Adjust labor allocation throughout shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Engage with support functions and other departments to resolve common issues or address needs in key performance areas, such as process area readiness, 5S principles, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of relevant experience is required for this position.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates within Amazon's dynamic fulfillment and sortation centers. It is a full-time position that requires active involvement in on-the-ground operations.
