Fulfillment Center Supervisor

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is expanding its Operations team and is seeking a Fulfillment Center Supervisor. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves overseeing shift management within one of Amazon's first-mile fulfillment centers, middle-mile sortation centers, or final-mile delivery stations. The Operations Specialists are integral to the daily operations, ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently at every stage of the supply chain.

Role Overview

The Fulfillment Center Supervisor drives operational efficiency and maintains high standards across various stages of order fulfillment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing teams and processes in a dynamic environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities within the work area.
• Manage and train Associates to ensure high-quality service delivery for customers.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• Provide critical shift-related information continuously to frontline management and operators.
• Adjust labor allocation throughout shifts to meet and exceed operational plans and forecasts.
• Engage with support functions and other departments to address common issues or needs in key performance areas, such as process area readiness, 5S, safety, and training.
• Contribute to solving logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This role operates within a demanding fulfillment center environment. Candidates must be able to meet the following physical and scheduling requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
