CRITICAL CARE NURSE

About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Critical Care Nurse 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within the assigned unit in Al-Ahsa. This full-time role involves supporting operational processes, maintaining high standards of patient care, and assisting in the resolution of complex clinical issues. The Critical Care Nurse 3 will also mentor intermediate-level nurses and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery.

Strategic Contributions

• Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on improving nursing practices within the assigned unit.
• Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Work towards achieving high staff engagement and patient experience.
• Support the empowerment of nurses through the integration of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Operational Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
• Assist in managing workflow, ensuring proper resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Achieve and maintain the mandated activities for Level 3, requiring a minimum total of 20 points across at least four categories within each 12-month cycle, as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, tailored to the patient's age.
• Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and patient needs, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
• Precept new hires and trainees during their probation training period and contribute recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and life-saving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
• Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Al-Ahsa, where the Critical Care Nurse 3 will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care and operational excellence.
