Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Follow the application of food quality and safety standards within the restaurant.
- Conduct periodic checks on food items and ensure their compliance with the required specifications.
- Monitor preparation and serving stages to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare periodic quality reports and submit them to the management.
- Provide recommendations for improving processes and quality.
Requirements:
- Appropriate academic qualification (diploma or bachelor's degree in food science, public health, or a related field).
- Previous experience in quality and food sector not less than two years.
- Good knowledge of HACCP standards and ISO 22000 and health practices.
- Valid health certificate from the relevant authorities.
- Knowledge of food health and safety standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Analytical skills for follow-up, auditing, documentation, and report preparation.
- Ability to work in shifts and withstand work pressure.
- Preferably someone with training courses in food safety or quality management.
