Accounts Receivable Officer

About the Role

Agile Consultants is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our client's team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves managing customer invoicing, overseeing outstanding receivables, and ensuring timely payment follow-ups. The position requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting function.

Role Overview

The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the accounts receivable ledger. This includes accurate processing of invoices, diligent monitoring of outstanding balances, and preparing essential financial reports. The role is critical for ensuring efficient cash flow management and accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor accounts receivable (AR) aging and track outstanding customer balances.
• Prepare collection reports and comprehensive accounts receivable reports.
• Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments and outstanding invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records using ERP/SAP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems for accounts receivable transactions and financial record management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing and processing customer invoices.
• Knowledge of AR aging, collections processes, and receivables reporting.
• Experience in following up on overdue payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
