Job Description
About the Role
Amentum is seeking an Aviation PMI Evaluator MH R to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves performing in-depth Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level inspections on MH-60R helicopters, including surface, structural, fuel cell, and major component inspections. The role provides essential Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support and augmentation to achieve the aviation maintenance mission of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth inspections on MH-60R helicopters at Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot levels, covering surface, structural, fuel cell, and major components.
- Provide Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support, including Maintenance Control, Quality Control, Supply Management, and aircraft repair.
- Serve as a fully qualified Quality Control Specialist for the RSNF PMI Team, demonstrating strong working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and ****
- Assist and train RSNF personnel on compliance with NAMP standards, particularly in Performance Management and Inspection (PMI) evaluations.
- Perform Field Level maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance repairs, and Technical Directive compliance on MH-60R Airframes.
- Complete and maintain applicable forms, records, and reports using appropriate references and publications, including the NAMP.
- Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel, maintaining records such as Readiness Insight or ASMi.
- Inspect aircraft, systems, equipment, and parts to ensure safe flying and conformance to specifications and regulations; oversee part installation and inspect adjustments.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, identifying any breaches of safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining safety standards within the shop, hangar, and on the flight line.
- Accept accountability for property within the Power Plant Shop.
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned work area, including cleaning, preservation, and operational maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Operate motor vehicles, machines, and other mechanical equipment as required for duties.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as an Aviation PMI Evaluator or in a similar role.
- Proven capability to perform Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level inspections on MH-60R helicopters.
- Demonstrated expertise as a Quality Control Specialist with a strong working knowledge of the NAMP and the ****
- Ability to assist and train personnel on Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) standards.
- Proficiency in maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role requires the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, which may involve various physical demands. Candidates must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods, climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands. The position may require crouching, crawling, grasping objects, using finger dexterity, bending, reaching above/below shoulders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual requirements include seeing aircraft in flight, reading dials/gauges, identifying small objects and tools, discerning imperfections, and reading micrometers. Effective verbal communication and auditory perception are necessary, along with the ability to distinguish colors and judge three-dimensional depth. Operation of power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklifts, and APUs may be required.
