Job Description

About the Role

Amentum is seeking an MH-60 Aircraft Logs & Records Clerk to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position involves the comprehensive management and sustainment of aircraft documentation within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and sustain all aircraft logbooks, aeronautical equipment service records, aircraft maintenance files, records, reports, directives, and correspondence in accordance with applicable instructions.
  • Utilize management information systems to maintain aircraft forms and records as required.
  • Draft and submit aircraft/engine management and Inventory Reporting System reports in a timely manner.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly reports as assigned.
  • Process readiness documents, administer the aircraft configuration status accounting program, and verify aircraft utilization reports.
  • Monitor aircraft configuration status, weight and balance, and aircraft inventory data for accuracy.
  • Initiate and distribute applicable maintenance forms according to established procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Monthly Maintenance Plan.
  • Monitor, verify, and log Support Equipment Custody records, Aviation Armament Equipment, aircraft inventory records, and Technical Directives.
  • Maintain a work-center technical publication annex library as required.
  • Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction as needed.
  • Perform data processing, data entry, and administrative support in systems including NALCOMIS OOMA, MH-60R AME, IMDS, CETADS, and CEMS.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and co-workers.
  • Comply with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste Program, and Tool Control Programs.
  • Adhere to all general and industrial safety rules and regulations applicable to the contract, facility, and job assignment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Logs and Records Work Center Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of aviation clerical experience in maintaining aircraft logbooks, aeronautical equipment service records, and associated logs.
  • Satisfactory completion of * Armed Forces Logs and Records courses or equivalent, or two (2) years of on-the-job training and/or experience.
  • Must be able to meet Government / Company licensing / qualification requirements.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work all assigned shifts & schedules.
  • Prior military personnel must present a member 4 DD214 with an Honorable character of service discharge.

Technical Skills and Systems Experience

  • Experience with automated management information systems such as OOMA, NALCOMIS, AME, IMDS, CETADS, CEMS is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to type a minimum of thirty-five (35) words per minute.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Clearance and Security Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NAC(T3) Background Investigation and drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role is primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional work in aircraft hangar and shop areas. The position involves minimal exposure to noise hazards. Handling of hazardous materials may be required. Administrative duties may necessitate occasional kneeling, standing, stooping, and bending. Required lifting is up to 50 lbs. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and keyboard input. Travel may be required in support of detachments of unknown duration.
