About the Opportunity

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. (ABIS) is seeking a qualified Breathing Apparatus / Nitrogen - BA/N2 Technician to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role focuses on managing and maintaining critical breathing apparatus and nitrogen equipment to ensure safety compliance on site.

Role Summary

The BA/N2 Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of breathing apparatus and nitrogen systems. These systems are primarily utilized in hazardous environments, particularly within the oil and gas industry. The position requires strong technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety standards to support safe operations and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of breathing apparatus and nitrogen equipment.
• Ensure all BA and nitrogen systems comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct equipment calibration and troubleshooting to maintain operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
• Provide essential support during emergency drills and real incidents by preparing and supplying breathing apparatus and nitrogen systems.
• Coordinate effectively with safety and operational teams to ensure compliance and foster safe work environments.
• Train personnel in the correct use and care of breathing apparatus and nitrogen systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical diploma or certification in relevant fields such as safety equipment maintenance, mechanical, or electrical.
• Previous experience working with breathing apparatus and nitrogen systems, preferably within oil and gas or other industrial settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety standards and regulations pertaining to breathing apparatus and compressed gases.
