Construction Manager

About the Role

Shade Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a strong background in marine construction projects, with a particular emphasis on sheet piling works. The successful candidate will manage projects at the Juaymah site.

Role Overview

The Construction Manager will oversee marine construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards. A critical aspect of this role involves proven expertise in sheet piling works. The position requires managing various aspects of construction, including heavy equipment and lifting operations, within a contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage marine construction projects, with a focus on sheet piling works.
• Oversee heavy equipment and lifting operations on site.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco project standards, including SAES/GI standards, safety requirements, and approval procedures.
• Prepare and manage client correspondence in English.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years as a Construction Manager.
• Proven expertise in sheet piling works is mandatory.
• Experience in marine/port construction projects, preferably involving piers and quay walls.
• Background in EPC/contracting companies; consultancy experience will not be considered.
• Recent contracting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco projects, including familiarity with SAES/GI standards, safety requirements, and approval procedures.
• Good written English communication skills for client correspondence.
