Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a dedicated Instrument Technician to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position focused on supporting critical industrial operations through expert instrumentation services.
Role Overview
The Instrument Technician will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation equipment and control systems. The primary objective is to ensure that all instruments operate accurately and efficiently, contributing to stable process control and operational objectives within industrial environments. This involves performing routine calibrations, necessary repairs, and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation and control devices.
- Perform regular calibration and testing of instruments to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation faults and deviations promptly.
- Assist in commissioning and start-up activities for new and upgraded instrumentation systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including detailed maintenance logs and calibration certificates.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable process control operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related technical field is required.
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician, specifically within industrial settings.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of instrumentation equipment, calibration methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and practices in industrial environments.
Work Environment
