About the Role: Specialist III, Instrument
TASNEE is seeking a highly experienced Specialist III, Instrument to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is integral to the Instrumentation Maintenance team, focusing on advanced troubleshooting and complex problem-solving within a petrochemical environment. The role ensures the effective, safe, and cost-efficient maintenance of critical instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and support preventive, routine, and turnaround maintenance activities for instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex instrumentation and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) issues.
- Conduct field testing, inspections, and investigations related to equipment failures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field staff, contractors, and supervisors.
- Support maintenance planning, documentation, and system review processes.
- Coordinate effectively with operations, engineering, and reliability teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with all quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist with spare parts standardization, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and the training of personnel.
Technical Expertise and Problem Solving
The Specialist III will serve as a key resource for addressing intricate technical challenges related to instrumentation. This involves applying advanced diagnostic skills to identify root causes of failures and implementing robust solutions to maintain operational continuity and system reliability. The role requires a proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
Collaboration and Guidance
A significant aspect of this position involves fostering strong collaborative relationships across various departments. The Specialist III will provide essential technical guidance, ensuring that maintenance practices are aligned with operational goals and industry best practices. Required Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in instrumentation maintenance and related fields. A minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation is required, ideally within a petrochemical or heavy industrial setting, showcasing a deep understanding of complex systems and maintenance protocols.
