About the Role

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Administrator to join our team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This contract role focuses on the comprehensive management, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and cybersecurity solutions. The position requires a professional with strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and network administration, combined with practical cybersecurity expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Administer and support the organization's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Monitor system and network performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
• Monitor cybersecurity tools, investigate security alerts, and perform security log analysis to support incident investigation and response activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely remediation.
• Implement and maintain system and network security controls, including security hardening and access management.
• Manage backup solutions and support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Perform patch management and ensure systems are updated against known vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, network, system, and cybersecurity incidents.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, procedures, and incident records.
• Support cybersecurity compliance requirements and participate in security improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to continuously enhance the organization's infrastructure security and operational resilience.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Administration.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity.
• Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, networks, and security technologies.

Technical Skills

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following technical areas:

• Systems Administration: Strong experience in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 administration and support, virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V), administration and monitoring of backup and disaster recovery solutions, patch management, and system performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Network Administration: Strong knowledge of switching and routing fundamentals, experience with VLANs, network configuration and troubleshooting, firewall administration and management, VPN configuration, wireless network management and troubleshooting, and monitoring and maintaining network availability and performance.
• Cybersecurity Skills: Security monitoring and incident investigation (including SIEM monitoring, log analysis, and security alert investigation), conducting vulnerability scanning and following up on remediation activities, knowledge of endpoint protection and security solutions (including EDR/antivirus platforms), system and network security hardening, identity and access management, basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements, and the ability to identify, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents.

Preferred Certifications and General Abilities

• Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified, Microsoft Azure Certified, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE / FCP, Microsoft Security Certification, or other relevant infrastructure or cybersecurity certifications.
• Required Abilities: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to manage multiple infrastructure and security-related tasks effectively, strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles, ability to investigate and respond to technical and security incidents, good communication and documentation skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within IT and cybersecurity teams, and strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining secure and reliable IT operations.
