Senior Network and Security Engineer

About the Role

Abunayyan Holding is seeking a Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining a multi-vendor enterprise infrastructure, focusing on networking, security, and collaboration domains. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Senior Network and Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, security, and performance across our infrastructure. This hybrid role covers three critical areas: Networking (Aruba), Security (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Forescout, F5, Zscaler), and Collaboration (Ribbon, Yealink, Avaya). The engineer will also lead various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Network & Infrastructure (Aruba): Design and administer Aruba AOS-CX Switching (Core & Access) and Wireless environments. Utilize Aruba Central for cloud-based monitoring, configuration, and AI-driven troubleshooting of APs and switches. Perform firmware upgrades, VSX/MC-LAG configurations, and 2D/3D line support for LAN/WLAN issues.
• Cybersecurity & Zero Trust: Manage policies, SSL decryption, and VPN tunnels on FortiGate and Palo Alto platforms. Administer the Forescout NAC solution for device visibility and automated remediation workflows. Configure and tune F5 WAF (ASM/LTM) to protect web applications. Implement and support Zscaler SASE (ZIA/ZPA) for secure remote access and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) protocols.
• Collaboration & Unified Communications: Configure and maintain Ribbon Gateways (SBCs) for secure SIP trunking and interoperability. Manage Yealink Teams IP Phones and legacy Avaya telephony environments, including SIP/** protocol troubleshooting. Support Microsoft Teams Phone System Direct Routing and hybrid collaboration workflows.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in multi-vendor enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Aruba networking solutions, including AOS-CX Switching and Aruba Central.
• Proficiency in managing FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Forescout NAC, F5 WAF (ASM/LTM), and Zscaler SASE (ZIA/ZPA).
• Familiarity with Ribbon Gateways (SBCs), Yealink Teams IP Phones, and Avaya telephony systems.
