Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Al Khafji, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience. The Senior Electrical Engineer will operate within either the Core Engineering Team or a Project Management Team (PMT) project environment.

Role Context and Reporting

The Senior Electrical Engineer may have engineer-grade Electrical personnel under their direct responsibility, involving tasks such as control, management, and delegation of activities to support staff. In instances where the role operates under the supervision of a Lead Electrical Engineer, responsibilities will be assigned as delegated by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Engineer may be responsible for a range of tasks, which include but are not limited to:

• Managing and controlling Electrical personnel under their responsibility.
• Delegating activities and tasks to support personnel as required.
• Executing assigned duties within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team.
• Performing responsibilities as delegated by a Lead Electrical Engineer, if applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of twelve (12) years of overall experience.
• At least eight (8) years of experience specifically within the field of Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience in a similar role for several years is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures/practices is considered beneficial.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.
