The Opportunity: Fire & Safety Officer (Manufacturing)

Almarai is seeking a Fire & Safety Officer to join its team in Al-Kharj. This full-time role is critical in supporting the Fire Prevention Manager to mitigate risks of loss from fire or smoke damage to company resources. The role involves ensuring the safety of personnel, buildings, plant & equipment, products, raw materials, and information retrieval systems, both paper and electronic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Fire Prevention Manager in reducing the risk of loss due to fire or smoke damage across all Almarai resources.
• Conduct regular inspections of all workplaces to identify unsafe plant, working conditions, and practices.
• Ensure the security and loss prevention of plant facilities, equipment, machinery, raw/finished goods, components, and other company assets.
• Implement and monitor fixed and mobile security surveillance systems and procedures.
• Closely monitor all areas to capture events related to security and loss prevention.
• Safeguard, patrol, and monitor against theft, pilferage, sabotage, and vandalism within and outside the CPP plant and complex.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in fire and safety roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and assess risks related to fire, smoke, and general security.
• Experience in implementing and monitoring security and loss prevention systems.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia.
