Cost Controller

About the Role

RTC1 Recruitment Services is seeking a Cost Controller to join a leading catering and facilities management services provider. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, and involves monitoring and controlling costs across various operational aspects for a client supporting major industrial and corporate sectors in KSA and the broader Middle East.

Company Overview

The client is a prominent provider of catering and facilities management services within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extending support to significant industrial and corporate entities across the Middle East and internationally. This role contributes to maintaining financial efficiency and operational integrity within their service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor food costs, purchasing activities, inventory levels, stock transfers, wastage, and supplier pricing.
• Identify variances and opportunities for cost savings within assigned operations.
• Conduct regular site audits covering inventory management, FIFO adherence, expiry dates, asset tracking, operational transactions, and stock controls.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), actual versus budgeted costs, PMPD/meal costing, and stock movement across assigned operations.
• Coordinate with storekeepers, purchasing teams, warehouse personnel, and operational teams to ensure accurate ERP records and the effective implementation of cost-control procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a cost control role, preferably within the catering or facilities management industry.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and cost control software.

Compensation

Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. The compensation package also includes a company car and car allowances.
