The Role of a Courier

As a Full-time Field Courier for DHL Express in Dhahran, you represent the company directly to our customers. This role involves the efficient and safe collection and delivery of time-sensitive shipments, ensuring a professional and friendly service experience. Couriers are integral to our "Insanely Customer Centric" team, contributing to our commitment to service excellence and maintaining our position as a leading international company.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently collect and deliver shipments to and from customer locations within a designated route.
• Provide customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a positive and professional demeanor.
• Handle all shipments with care, ensuring correct scanning and accurate completion of necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery, considering traffic patterns and deadlines.
• Operate the company vehicle safely and lawfully, performing daily inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Utilize handheld scanners and other company technology for shipment tracking, status updates, and route management.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including those related to customs, security, and dangerous goods.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Saudi Arabian driver's license (Lightweight / Heavyweight Driver License) with a clean driving record.
• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time position based in the Al Khobar and Dhahran areas of the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a commitment to professionalism and dedication to ensure timely and secure delivery services, upholding DHL Express's global standards. Successful candidates will become a Certified International Specialist within our team.
