Role Overview: Instructor Pilot (Primary)

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instructor Pilot (Primary) to join its team in Al Majma'ah. This full-time role involves delivering flight and ground training services to assigned cadets, ensuring adherence to established business objectives and training syllabi. The Instructor Pilot will report directly to the Head of Flying (KFAA) and will be responsible for instructional missions for cadets in accordance with Royal Saudi Air Force training standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct flying operations and cadet training in compliance with KSA Company Flying Regulations and RSAF Rules and Regulations.
• Identify aviation safety risks and propose mitigating recommendations to the Squadron Supervisor.
• Maintain working knowledge of SafeTal incident reporting and familiarity with the flying operations Hazard (Risk) Log, including both Hazard and FORM modules.
• Provide air operations subject matter expertise to the Squadron Supervisor upon request.
• Perform duties and delegated tasks as directed by the Squadron Supervisor.
• Highlight cadet training issues to Squadron Supervisory staff.
• Adhere to Squadron Supervisor policies and processes.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of assigned cadets and advise Squadron Supervisory staff of any concerns.
• Generate reports as required by Squadron Supervisory staff.
• Maintain cultural awareness with the customer at all times and conform to required standards and operating procedures.
• Monitor the Aviation Safety culture within the Squadron to ensure adherence to required standards.
• Self-monitor fatigue levels in accordance with the King Faisal Air Academy (KFAA) Aircrew Fatigue Management Plan and communicate any concerns to Squadron Supervisory staff.
• Advise the Squadron Supervisor of factors adversely affecting safe operations.
• Deliver ground training lectures to cadets as scheduled by the unit.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant aviation or instructional role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform flying instructional missions for cadets.
• Proficiency in aviation safety protocols and incident reporting.
• Strong understanding of RSAF training syllabi and regulations.

This is a full-time position based in Al Majma'ah, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a structured training environment, requiring close collaboration with Squadron Supervisory staff and adherence to strict aviation safety standards.
