About the Opportunity

Astek Middle East is seeking a Dotnet Developer to join our team in Al Qassim. This full-time role is for a Senior .NET Backend Developer, requiring 5-10 years of experience in building scalable backend applications and modern APIs.

Role Focus

The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust enterprise solutions. This position requires a strong commitment to clean code, sound software architecture, and the delivery of high-quality applications within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using **** Core (.NET).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, adhering to OpenAPI v3 standards.
• Design and optimize relational databases for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and contribute to React applications when required.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Clean Coding practices.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and create comprehensive unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Continuously research new technologies and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Take ownership of applications and drive continuous improvement throughout their lifecycle.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a .NET Backend Developer.
• Proven expertise in building scalable backend applications, microservices, and modern APIs.
• Strong proficiency in **** Core (.NET).
• Experience with RESTful API design (OpenAPI v3) and relational database optimization.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Clean Coding, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
