About the Role

Accor is seeking a Director of Sales for Our Habitas AlUla, a luxury eco-resort located in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a seasoned sales leader to drive revenue growth and manage the sales department within a unique hospitality environment focused on sustainability, wellness, and cultural immersion.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing the annual and quarterly sales strategy for Our Habitas AlUla. This role is critical in driving revenue across all market segments, including Corporate, Leisure, MICE, Entertainment, Wholesale, Travel Trade, Luxury Travel Advisors, Government, and Group business. The Director will lead the Sales Department, cultivate strategic client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the achievement of revenue goals while upholding the brand's luxury positioning and values.

  • Develop and execute the annual and quarterly Sales Business Plan.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets to maximize revenue.
  • Develop strategies to increase market share and achieve annual sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and manage the Sales team, setting individual sales targets and monitoring performance.
  • Generate new business through proactive sales activities and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including Corporate, Government, Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), DMCs, Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Luxury Travel Advisors, and Entertainment/Event organizers.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and networking activities, and represent Our Habitas AlUla at industry events.
  • Develop strategic account plans for key clients, negotiate agreements, and maintain long-term relationships to increase repeat business.
  • Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, review account production, track sales activities, and ensure accurate CRM maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Events, and Finance departments to ensure smooth communication and operational execution.
  • Represent the Our Habitas brand professionally and promote its culture, experiences, and values.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators including:

  • Total Rooms Revenue
  • Corporate, Group, Leisure, MICE, and Entertainment Revenue
  • New Business Acquisition and Account Retention
  • Sales Conversion Rate and Sales Pipeline Value
  • Client Meetings, Sales Calls, and Site Inspections Conducted
  • Revenue Forecast Accuracy and CRM Compliance
  • Customer Satisfaction and Employee Performance & Development

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Director of Sales will lead and manage the Sales Department, including Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Sales Coordinators. This includes overseeing recruitment, coaching, performance evaluations, succession planning, and employee engagement to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and adherence to luxury service standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior Sales leadership role within the luxury hospitality industry. A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth across multiple market segments is essential. Strong experience in Corporate, Leisure, MICE, Entertainment, Group, Government, and Luxury Travel sales is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability in developing strategic account plans, negotiating high-value commercial agreements, and experience working with luxury travel advisors, DMCs, wholesalers, and international travel partners. A good understanding of revenue management principles, sales forecasting, and commercial performance, along with experience using CRM systems, is necessary. Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills are vital. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly desirable, with additional languages considered an advantage. A strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian luxury hospitality market, with knowledge of AlUla and its tourism ecosystem, is a significant advantage. Willingness to travel for sales missions, trade shows, and client meetings is expected.
