Event Supervisor

About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking an Event Supervisor to join the team at Amaala Yacht Club, located in Al Wajh, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the planning and execution of high-profile events and activations, ensuring they align with the club's luxury identity and operational standards. The Event Supervisor will play a key role in enhancing member engagement and the club's prestige.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Event Supervisor is to plan, organize, and deliver a range of events, including member gatherings, regattas, VIP functions, brand activations, and lifestyle experiences at Amaala Yacht Club. This involves ensuring seamless execution from concept through completion, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to achieve exceptional service, aesthetic quality, and operational precision. The role contributes to establishing Amaala Yacht Club as a premier destination for maritime enthusiasts and a leading yacht club on the Red Sea coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of events, including concept development, budgeting, logistics, and post-event reporting.
• Curate a seasonal calendar of luxury member events and experiential activations to enhance engagement and club prestige.
• Liaise with internal teams, partners, and third-party vendors to coordinate all event components such as F&B, entertainment, décor, branding, permits, and security.
• Ensure all events reflect the club’s luxury positioning, values, and brand tone.
• Develop detailed event briefs, run-of-shows, and contingency plans.
• Manage guest lists, RSVP systems, and VIP hosting protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with Marketing and PR teams for promotional and media engagement activities.
• Track event Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare post-event evaluation reports.
• Ensure smooth execution of regattas and sailing-related events in collaboration with marina and yacht racing teams.

Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement

• Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service delivery, and a responsible environmental approach.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in departmental systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices, business process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity improvements.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Event Supervisor position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in event planning and management, preferably within a luxury or high-profile environment.
