About the Role

The Drill Rig Operator, also known as a Driller, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of drilling rigs. This role is integral to mineral exploration programs, focusing on obtaining core samples and critical data. The Driller ensures that all drilling operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and accurately, adhering strictly to project requirements and established company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various types of drilling rigs to extract core samples and gather geological data.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on drilling equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Ensure all drilling activities comply with project specifications and operational guidelines.
• Maintain a high standard of safety throughout all drilling operations, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Monitor drilling progress and record relevant data accurately for exploration analysis.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience operating and maintaining drilling rigs in mineral exploration.
• Demonstrated understanding of drilling techniques and equipment.
• Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in challenging field conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and operational excellence.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, primarily supporting projects such as Jibal Qutman near Bishah in 'Asir province and Hawiah near Taif in Makkah Province. The role requires working on-site at exploration locations within these regions.
