About the Field Specialist Role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist to join its Drilling Services Team. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern Region. The role involves providing solutions to moderately complex well site issues, requiring analysis of various factors to resolve situations.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Field Specialist, you will develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile necessary for delivering Logging while Drilling services at the well site. Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Reporting on Drilling Services portfolio activities.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Wellbore Placement.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Collision Avoidance Practices and their relation to Directional Drilling (DD) activities.
• Completing advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs.
• Developing proficiency required for the delivery of Directional Drilling services at the well site.
• Demonstrating knowledge of Hydraulics and Torque & Drag Simulations.
• Supervising good practices for Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) handling and make-up.
• Demonstrating knowledge of activities and technologies related to well construction, such as Hydraulic Expandable Reamers and Circulation Subs.
• Communicating and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field as a Directional Drilling (DD) professional.
• Be fluent in English.
• Be eligible to work without visa sponsorship.
