Job Summary

Gold and Minerals Ltd is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Bishah, Qal‘at Bīshah, 'Asir. This full-time role focuses on supporting financial planning, cost control, and investment decision-making within our mining operations. The analyst will provide critical insights by analyzing production costs, budgets, and capital expenditures to enhance profitability and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain financial models and reporting systems, including identifying and correcting data errors.
• Gather financial and operational data from primary sources such as site production reports, procurement systems, and ERP, as well as secondary sources like market reports and regulatory filings.
• Analyze operational costs and key financial KPIs to evaluate efficiency and profitability.
• Build financial models for forecasting costs, revenues, capital expenditure needs, and cash flow projections.
• Demonstrate the significance of financial trends within the context of broader market and economic conditions affecting the organization.
• Prepare budget variance reports, forecasts, and financial presentations for executive leadership and site management.
• Support capital project evaluations through NPV, IRR, and payback period analysis.
• Create clear documentation of financial models and assumptions to ensure analyses can be reviewed, audited, or replicated.
• Clean and reconcile financial data across departments, cost centers, and reporting periods to ensure accuracy.
• Generate insights on cost drivers, margin trends, and risk exposure.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
• Strong financial analysis skills are essential.
• Prior exposure to the mining industry is beneficial but not strictly required, as on-the-job orientation will be provided.
