The Electrician Role at Org Uac

Org Uac is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is primarily responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electromechanical equipment within the company's facilities.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Electrician plays a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity and safety of electrical and electronic systems across Project facilities and equipment. This involves a comprehensive approach to electrical maintenance, installation, and strict adherence to industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul electromechanical equipment utilizing various electrical test equipment, meters, and both powered and non-powered tools.
• Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring in strict accordance with the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards.
• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems for Project facilities and equipment.
• Perform high voltage switching operations and operate Plant Switch Gear.
• Work safely and cooperatively with co-workers and the public, maintaining a secure work environment.
• Lead a work party in performing maintenance or repair work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Perform other related incidental work as needed to support operational requirements.
• Comply with and practice proper equipment clearance procedures as mandated.
• Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Be responsible for station lockout/tag out procedures as mandated by company policy.
• Apply and implement the 5S system within the Electrical workshop and all working areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• Requires a 3-year Electrical diploma education.
• Requires a minimum of 7 years of previous experience in the same field.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working across various Project facilities and equipment, requiring adherence to stringent safety and operational protocols.
