F&B Coordinator

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an F&B Coordinator to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of food and beverage functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with group coordinators/hostesses before functions to make introductions and confirm arrangements.
• Review and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timelines, specific guest needs, buffets, and action stations.
• Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements, ensuring compliance through follow-up.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of F&B operations and guest service principles is beneficial.
