Information Technology Network Engineer

About the Role

Sons Sulaiman Hamad Al Saif for Land Transport & Logistics is seeking an Information Technology Network Engineer to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is critical for maintaining reliable, secure, and resilient network infrastructure across the company's geographically distributed transportation and logistics environment.

Role Purpose

The IT Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the company’s network infrastructure. This includes supporting offices, branches, and various operational locations to ensure business continuity and optimal operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across all company locations.
• Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor network availability, performance, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
• Implement network security controls and segmentation.
• Manage VPN connectivity between branches and corporate locations.
• Support network infrastructure projects and new site implementations.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation.
• Monitor network capacity and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate with telecom providers and technology vendors.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
• Ensure network infrastructure meets performance, availability, and security standards.
• Participate in IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience. Mandatory qualifications include:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Practical experience with enterprise network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Cisco enterprise networking experience.
• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting multi-site environments.
