About the Role

Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking a Maintenance Junior Technician to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing hands-on support for oilfield operations, specifically focusing on ESP systems.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide direct assistance to oilfield operations. This includes supporting ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) start-up, monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and reporting activities. The technician will ensure all tasks adhere to Alkhorayef Petroleum Company's (APC) and client's contractual and QHSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, VSDs (Variable Speed Drives), and control panels.
Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and diagrams.
Support the installation of electrical components such as motors, switches, and circuit breakers.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
Utilize hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment, including multimeters.
Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tools.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures during task execution.
Document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.
Collaborate with other technicians and departments on various projects.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of experience in a relevant technical or maintenance field.
Ability to understand and follow technical instructions.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region, and involves working in oilfield operations. The position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to established quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
