Project Manager

About the Role

Emerson is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, covering cities such as Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, and Al Jubail. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on managing projects from contract award through commissioning and handover. The Project Manager will ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, aligning with organizational goals and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and project closeout.
• Support the proposal team during the quotation phase by validating project assumptions, execution strategies, resource requirements, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Execute and coordinate project activities such as contract review, procurement, manufacturing, inspections, logistics, shipments, subcontracting, installation, and site services.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and drive collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Act as the primary customer interface, coordinating with engineering, procurement, production, quality, logistics, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Manage project financial performance through budget control, cost monitoring, revenue forecasting, cash flow management, invoicing support, and profitability improvement.
• Monitor project progress and compliance against schedules, KPIs, contractual requirements, and company procedures, including subcontractor performance and site activities.
• Evaluate and manage project risks, opportunities, and scope changes by implementing mitigation plans and administering variation orders and change requests.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to conduct accurate situational analyses through insightful questioning. They will effectively mobilize and allocate resources, cultivate broad-based relationships, and understand individual motivators to optimize team performance. This role requires a commitment to driving customer satisfaction and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or 5 years in lead engineering and commissioning roles within instrumentation, automation, digitalization, wireless, or industrial solutions projects.
• Strong technical understanding of instrumentation, wireless solutions, flow measurement, pressure, temperature, and level technologies.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary projects involving engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, site installation, commissioning, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of commercial and contractual management, including contract terms, change management, claims, variation orders, and Incoterms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, planning, and reporting tools.
• Strong customer engagement, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, planning, and project management skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• PMP certification is preferred.
