  • Maintain welding quality through effective control of WPSs, PQRs, welder qualifications, weld maps, consumables, repairs, and applicable acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate and witness inspection and NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT), and support pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, reinstatement, and final mechanical completion.
  • Partner with customers, third parties, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve quality issues and support timely project execution.
  • Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, punch items, and quality records through closure to reduce rework and improve quality performance.
  • Ensure complete and accurate project quality documentation, including inspection records and final quality dossiers for customer handover.
  • Support the selection and technical interviewing of project QC personnel based on project requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Exposure to mechanical, piping, static equipment installation, and welding quality activities within oil & gas or industrial project environments.
  • Knowledge of applicable mechanical and welding codes and standards, including ASME, API, AWS, and ISO, along with project and customer specifications.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and quality documentation, including P&IDs, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, weld maps, ITPs, WPSs, PQRs, and material certificates.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Exposure to revamp, repair, and alteration of static equipment involving ASME R Stamp requirements.
  • Knowledge of material traceability, MTC review, welding consumable control, NDT coordination, weld repair monitoring, calibration, and turnover documentation.
  • Exposure to shutdowns, turnarounds, brownfield, or fast-track oil & gas projects.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with customer QC teams, third-party inspectors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
