Purchase Manager

About the Role

Business Enhancers is seeking a Purchase Manager to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves directing and managing the overall procurement and sourcing strategy for raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring smooth supply chain integration while controlling costs and inventory risk.

Role Summary

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for vendor management, price negotiations, and ensuring supplier quality. The role requires strategic oversight of procurement processes to support production needs effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Advise senior leadership on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and risk mitigation for key raw and packaging materials.
• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials and packaging to achieve optimal cost and quality.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage annual contracts.
• Maintain long-term vendor relationships.
• Oversee inventory management to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and expired stock.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits focusing on quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to SFDA, Municipality, MODON, and internal food safety and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO, across all purchased materials.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from SAR 15,000 to SAR 18,750.
