About the Role

The Site Manager, HV Turnkey Project is responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern region, and involves acquiring necessary resources and coordinating team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to ensure project delivery according to plan. The Site Manager will also define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage project development from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management to support business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members clearly and in a timely manner.
  • Estimate resources and participants required to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, recommending changes as necessary.
  • Negotiate with other department managers for internal personnel acquisition.
  • Assess the need for additional staff or consultants and manage recruitments during the project cycle.
  • Set and continuously manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables by scheduling timelines using appropriate tools.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, fostering accountability for assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and maintain business relationships critical to project success.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working both independently and within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to understand communication styles of team members and contractors from diverse disciplines.
  • Demonstrated persuasive, encouraging, and motivating qualities.
  • Capability to elicit cooperation from various sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.

Work Environment and Travel

The role requires participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings. The Site Manager must also be able to travel to meet clients or off-site personnel/management as necessary.
