Storekeeper / Warehouse Controller

About the Role

AlKhaleejion is seeking a Storekeeper / Warehouse Controller to manage daily warehouse operations in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves overseeing the receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of goods and materials, ensuring accurate stock records and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and cross-check items against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery notes.
• Inspect goods for quality, damages, or discrepancies before accepting them into inventory.
• Issue receiving logs and report any shortages or damages immediately.
• Label, categorize, and store materials in designated bin locations, following proper storage logic such as FIFO.
• Ensure optimal space utilization and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Issue materials and products against approved requisition forms or work orders.
• Prepare, pack, and verify shipments against packing lists prior to dispatch.
• Update inventory transactions immediately in the ERP system.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Monitor reorder levels and alert procurement regarding low stock items.
• Record damaged or returned items and prepare scrap/return reports for management.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards to prevent workplace injuries and hazards.
• Ensure the safe operation of material handling equipment, such as forklifts, and secure warehouse premises.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a similar storekeeping or warehouse control role. The ability to manage day-to-day warehouse operations efficiently and accurately is essential.

Required Skills
