About the Role

Beeah Planners, Architects and Engineers is seeking an experienced Safety Inspector to join its consultant team. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and involves overseeing the implementation of a security systems development project. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring site safety operations, conducting inspections, tracking risks and corrective actions, and ensuring contractor compliance with safety requirements throughout all project phases. A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and periodic site safety inspections.
• Monitor contractor adherence to safety procedures and requirements.
• Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and practices.
• Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Review safety plans and procedures pertinent to contractor work.
• Participate in risk assessments and track required control measures.
• Oversee the application of safety procedures during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Monitor safety requirements across work areas, equipment, and construction sites.
• Coordinate with the contractor's safety team to address observations.
• Prepare safety reports, observations, and non-compliance documentation.
• Follow up on incidents and necessary corrective actions.
• Participate in site safety meetings.
• Track the closure of safety observations.
• Contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field.
• Relevant experience in safety within construction projects.
• Preferred experience in industrial, infrastructure, or security projects.
• Good knowledge of safety practices and risk assessment on construction sites.

Required Skills

• Ability to conduct field inspections and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Capability to work effectively as a resident site safety inspector.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based on-site in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role requires consistent presence at the project site to ensure continuous safety oversight.
