We are currently seeking a CNC Grinder Operator Rotating Equipment to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

Position Scope

The CNC Grinder Operator will be responsible for the precision grinding of rotating equipment and various precision parts. This critical role involves processing components after hardfacing or cladding operations, ensuring they meet exact specifications for surface finish and geometric accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC cylindrical grinders, and surface grinders if required.
• Grind rotating components such as shafts, rollers, sleeves, and tools to tight tolerances following hardfacing procedures.
• Achieve specified surface finishes and maintain geometric accuracy, including roundness, concentricity, and cylindricity.
• Perform in-process and final dimensional checks using micrometers, dial indicators, and other metrology tools.
• Interpret technical drawings and grinding programs accurately.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels, perform wheel dressing, and optimize grinding parameters.
• Ensure effective coolant management and conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with welding/hardfacing and quality control teams to ensure product integrity.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Grinder Operator, with a preference for experience on cylindrical grinders.
• Experience working with rotating equipment or precision shafts/components.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve high geometric and surface finish requirements.
• Knowledge of grinding after hardfacing or experience with hard materials is a significant advantage.
• Good understanding of measuring instruments and quality control principles.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures.
• Fluent in English, with professional communication skills in both writing and speaking.
