CNC Operator at Flowserve, Dammam

Flowserve is seeking a full-time CNC Operator to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This role involves operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, contributing to Flowserve's position as a global standard in comprehensive flow control solutions.

Role Summary

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating diverse machine tools to fabricate, modify, or repair precision mechanical instruments and parts. This includes applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to maintain industrial machines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate basic equipment and machines, performing routine tasks.
  • Execute operational tasks in adherence to established processes.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance and repair through preparation and support.
  • Follow mandatory work instructions to ensure environmental safety and personal/team wellbeing.
  • Adhere to procedures to meet required quality standards and comply with external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
  • Interpret and utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with colleagues.
  • Work under guidance to understand and align with organizational policies, procedures, strategies, and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment, operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use clear and effective verbal communication.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize activities with guidance to meet business objectives efficiently.
  • Capability to apply elementary concepts for managing and implementing safe systems of work.
