Alsharif Gold & Jewelry, established in 1975, is a Jeddah-based fine jewelry manufacturer and wholesale distributor with a five-decade legacy of craftsmanship. We are seeking a Senior CNC Machinist & Jewelry CAD/CAM Specialist to join our team in Jeddah or Makkah. This full-time role is integral to advancing the digital aspects of our jewelry production.

Role Scope and Growth

The specialist will manage the entire production process from design to finished product. This includes creating original designs, programming simultaneous 5-axis and multi-axis machines, and ensuring the final output meets fine jewelry standards. The position requires an individual capable of designing, programming, and machining, with the autonomy to make critical decisions regarding tooling and machining strategy. As our CNC capabilities expand, there is a clear path for the right candidate to assume a leadership role, establishing standards and mentoring future technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original 2D jewelry designs and lead the design process for CNC production.
• Develop designs using Rhino, AutoCAD, and Matrix Gold, preparing them for machining.
• Program and operate simultaneous 5-axis and multi-axis CNC machines for jewelry manufacturing.
• Select cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies to optimize surface finish and productivity.
• Generate, edit, and refine G-code, including post-processor customization.
• Prepare and manage tooling for various jobs and materials.
• Work with casted models and integrate them into CNC workflows.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop new collections.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven CNC experience, ideally in jewelry or precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in programming and operating simultaneous 5-axis and multi-axis machines.
• Demonstrated 2D design experience, including the ability to create original designs.
• Strong understanding of cutting tool geometry, tool wear, and surface finishing techniques.
• Knowledge of G-code editing and post-processor customization.
• Command of the full workflow: design, tooling, casted models, and G-code generation from 3D files.

• 3D design experience.
