About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operator Coiled Tubing to join our Pressure Pumping Team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time role involves working with advanced energy technology products and ensuring high-quality operations on machined parts. The successful candidate will operate under their own initiative to meet production schedules and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Role Context and Contribution

As a Field Operator, you will be an integral part of a team committed to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor, and operate multiple machines simultaneously to ensure safety and on-time delivery.
  • Perform quality assurance activities in accordance with manufacturing, engineering specifications, and ISO requirements.
  • Conduct safety and risk assessments, preparing preventive and proactive measures to identify potential hazards.
  • Assist in the rig-up and rig-down of coiled tubing equipment at the wellsite.
  • Execute pre-job inspections, function tests, and pressure testing of all equipment.
  • Monitor pump rates, tubing depth, weight, and well parameters during operations.
  • Mix and pump fluids, chemicals, or nitrogen as required by the job program.
  • Prepare equipment at the base, performing necessary testing and maintenance to ensure operational status.
  • Adhere to all operational and safety processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Experience with operating coiled tubing equipment for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience with coil units for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience in rig-up and rig-down of coiled tubing equipment at the wellsite.
  • Ability to operate coiled tubing unit, injector head, reel, control console, and pressure control equipment (BOP, stripper, lubricator).
  • Ability to learn from mistakes, be hardworking, and work in shifts under pressure.
  • Ability to raise maintenance requests for major equipment breakdowns.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience with operating nitrogen pumps.
  • Preferred: Experience mixing and pumping fluids, chemicals, or nitrogen as required for job programs.

Work Schedule

This role operates on a shift-based schedule, specifically 6 weeks on followed by 4 weeks off (rotational shift).
