Finance Manager Accounting Operations

About the Role

NES Global Talent is seeking a Finance Manager 1 - Accounting Operations to join their team in Dhahran. This contract position is integral to the Finance Team, which provides essential support and insight through planning, analysis, and reporting for the business. The role involves leveraging extensive data to inform critical decision-making and identify areas for improvement within a global organization.

Role Context and Impact

The Finance Team is committed to innovation through digitization to continuously enhance the value provided to the organization. This position requires a thorough understanding and mastery of financial approaches, theories, methodologies, and their application within a concrete organizational context. The successful candidate will provide regional FP&A and reporting for Corporate, a specific business unit, or a P&L within a business.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a business finance partner, assisting Operations in defining relevant growth plans.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across all organizational areas, including manufacturing, R&D, engineering, supply chain, and commissioning.
• Analyze performance and propose action plans to enhance profitability and cash generation, alongside corrective action plans as needed.
• Manage the business cycle, including the 3-year plan, budget, and forecasts at each organizational level.
• Provide advice and guidance to functional management or business functions on approaches, projects, programs, and ways of working within the functional area.
• Contribute to important business decisions or support business in decision-making by understanding broader cross-functional implications.
• Communicate high-level concepts effectively to Senior Leadership and executives.
• Deliver specialized professional work, either individually or as part of multi-layered teams.
• Handle complex professional work within the department, addressing unique cases that may lack precedent and contributing to knowledge management and the development of new approaches.
• Lead, design, and implement projects.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting operations. This role demands a professional with a strong foundation in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, capable of applying advanced methodologies in a dynamic corporate environment.
