Graduate Assistant, Petroleum Engineering

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking potential Saudi candidates for a Graduate Assistant position within its Department of Petroleum Engineering. This full-time role is based in Dhahran and is designed for individuals keen to contribute to both research and teaching activities.

Role Purpose and Commitment

The Graduate Assistant position at KFUPM plays a supportive role in advancing the academic and research objectives of the Petroleum Engineering Department. The selected candidate will be expected to commit approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties, encompassing a range of academic and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out assigned teaching duties.
  • Conducting research as directed by the department.
  • Providing academic advising to students.
  • Performing various administrative duties.
  • Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the academic department concerned.

Required Qualifications

Applicants for this Graduate Assistant role must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
  • Hold a full-time bachelor’s degree with very good academic grades.
  • Provide certificate equivalency if the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
