About the Opportunity

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Computer Engineering to join its department in Dhahran. This is a full-time academic position focused on contributing to both research and teaching within the university's esteemed Computer Engineering Department.

Role Overview

The Lecturer will play a vital role in the academic life of KFUPM, engaging with students and contributing to the department's scholarly output. The position requires a commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week, encompassing a range of professional and academic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of academic and administrative duties, including:

• Carrying out teaching duties within the Computer Engineering curriculum.
• Conducting research in relevant areas of computer engineering.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative duties as required by the department.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the concerned academic department.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field of Computer Engineering.
• Completion of a full-time Master’s degree program with very good grades.
• Possession of a certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
