About the Role

The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran invites applications for multiple full-time faculty positions in Operations Research. KFUPM seeks candidates with expertise in Industrial Engineering and related areas who are committed to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teaching experience in Industrial Engineering and related areas.
• Contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
• Conduct original research within the domain of expertise, leading to high-quality publications and research grant income.
• Play a lead role in research projects.
• Fulfill the department's teaching requirements, including developing lab activities at the undergraduate level.
• Incorporate recent advancements in the field into courses taught.
• Initiate and maintain research activities and projects with faculty members, resulting in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including program development and other duties as required.
• Adhere to job responsibilities as per Ministry of Civil Service regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated strong research potential, evidenced by publications in reputed archival journals.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Available for faculty positions at all ranks: assistant professor, associate professor, and full professor.

• Two-year renewable contract.
