About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for a Lecturer position in Operations Research within the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE). This full-time role is based in Dhahran and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are interested in promoting excellence in Industrial Engineering and related areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in high-quality teaching, fulfilling departmental requirements by teaching undergraduate courses and developing lab activities.
• Incorporate recent advancements in the area of study into the courses taught.
• Initiate and maintain research activities and projects with faculty members, aiming for peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals.
• Participate actively in departmental and university service, including program development and other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated teaching experience.
• Experience with a programming language, with a preference for Python and Jupyter notebooks.
• Excellent communication skills.
