Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Patient Financial Services Advisor to join our full-time team in Dhahran.

The Role: Senior Patient Financial Services Advisor

This role is central to coordinating complex eligibility and coverage issues, providing direct assistance to patients regarding their financial responsibilities and insurance coverage. The advisor will explain charges, payment expectations, and patient share copayments, while also managing front-line cash and tax invoicing, cash collection, and processing refunds. A key responsibility is guiding patients through available payment options and installment plans to ensure patient satisfaction and efficient financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance, collaborating with legal and regulatory teams to address any potential issues.
  • Provide direct support to patients regarding their financial responsibilities and insurance coverage.
  • Confirm insurance coverage and eligibility for complex cases to ensure accurate billing and clear communication of financial responsibilities.
  • Assist patients in understanding their benefits, resolving coverage discrepancies, and working with insurance companies to address and rectify issues.
  • Help patients with financial responsibilities, charges, payment expectations, and copayments.
  • Process payment plans, discounts, or financial assistance options.
  • Resolve straightforward issues and manage or escalate complex cases as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Healthcare Financial Services.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex eligibility and coverage issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively assisting patients and resolving financial inquiries.
  • Proficiency in front-line cash management, tax invoicing, collection, and refund processing.
  • A commitment to maintaining compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in financial services.
