About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail is seeking a Specialist Technical Licensing to join their team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves providing technical expertise in licensing activities. The role focuses on supporting licensees with product-related requirements, ensuring technical compliance, troubleshooting, and integrating licensed technologies into operations and audits.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Specialist Technical Licensing is responsible for ensuring that all licensed threading, manufacturing, and product qualification processes adhere to company standards, as well as client and international specifications. This position serves as a primary technical interface for licensees and third-party inspectors, maintaining consistent quality performance and compliance across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical and quality audits for licensees to ensure adherence to company standards and applicable specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to licensees on threading, manufacturing processes, product qualification, and operational improvements.
• Ensure all licensee processes and outputs align with Saudi Aramco requirements and international standards such as API and ISO.
• Review and verify that licensees maintain effective quality management systems consistent with company and client expectations.
• Review inspection reports, quality documentation, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring proper root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact with third-party bodies regarding quality and compliance matters.
• Oversee the proper management, calibration, and compliance of gauges and threading inserts at licensee facilities.
• Identify gaps and areas for improvement in licensee operations and support the implementation of best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and commercial departments, to ensure alignment on quality and technical matters.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technical licensing or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in threading, manufacturing processes, and product qualification.
• Familiarity with international standards such as API and ISO, and client specifications like Saudi Aramco requirements.
• Experience in conducting technical and quality audits.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, Eastern region, within a manufacturing and technical support environment. The role involves regular interaction with licensees, third-party inspectors, and internal cross-functional teams.
