The Role of Survey Engineer

Saipem is seeking a Survey Engineer to join the Offshore Operations team, specifically within the Survey Scope. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves supporting survey activities and contributing to the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot survey and positioning equipment.
• Plan and commission survey system mobilization and demobilization activities.
• Maintain survey IT networks and positioning systems.
• Conduct equipment calibration, maintenance, and repairs.
• Perform quality control, data analysis, and interpretation of survey data.
• Support offshore survey operations utilizing GNSS, acoustic positioning systems, and related equipment.
• Provide technical support to project survey teams and ensure compliance with company procedures and HSE requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role requires a professional who can effectively manage and execute the responsibilities outlined above, demonstrating technical proficiency in survey and positioning systems.

Work Environment and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. Some travel within Saudi Arabia is expected.
