The Opportunity: Interface Manager

AECOM is seeking an Interface Manager to join its team. This full-time role involves managing highly complex projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables. The Interface Manager will oversee various project facets, including client relationships, service delivery, and regulatory compliance, contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage one or more complex projects, which may involve national clients, a full spectrum of services, litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, or regulatory compliance.
• Oversee all project phases, from initiation to close-out, ensuring timely completion and delivery.
• Exercise consenting and regulatory authority for project approvals and change management decisions.
• Manage and supervise other Project Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across various departments and geographic locations to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and cost management to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements throughout all project phases.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and metrics for executive review and client communication.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and support the professional development of direct reports and project team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 20 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving diverse stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in overseeing project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
