The Role of Team Manager (Poultry)

Almarai is seeking a Team Manager (Poultry) for a full-time position based in Hail. This role involves managing a self-directing, multi-functional team responsible for the efficient intake and processing of specified poultry products. The Team Manager will ensure that all operations meet internal customer requirements while adhering to defined Product Specifications, Quality, and Safety standards, operating within established management performance parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a self-directing, multi-functional team within the poultry processing operations.
• Oversee the efficient intake of poultry and the processing of specified poultry products.
• Ensure that all processed products meet internal customer requirements.
• Operate within management performance parameters, including achieving efficiencies, minimizing loss-in-process, and ensuring zero non-conformance.
• Ensure strict adherence to defined Product Specifications, Quality, and Safety standards throughout the production process.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Processing, Food Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position within a poultry or broader food manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with the implementation of international Quality Standards, such as ISO 9000 and HACCP.
• Experience in finalizing production and maintenance plans/targets in collaboration with the production management team.

• Ability to maintain a safe working environment and actively minimize workplace accidents.
• Exposure to and understanding of automated process control production systems.
• Capability to propose plant modifications and process optimization strategies to reduce costs and enhance service levels.
• Strong cooperative skills, fostering effective collaboration with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a multinational and multifunctional workforce effectively.
• Aptitude for developing a cohesive team environment and boosting the overall output level of employees.
• Capacity to train individuals for required job functions and contribute to the development of a multicultural workforce.
